ARTIST
I’m Shelby Hohsfield. Artist. Permanent makeup educator. Creative rebuilding life on her own terms.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked in the beauty industry helping women feel more confident in their own skin. I opened Lorenco’s Salon at 22 years old, built and operated it for over two decades, and spent years balancing business ownership, artistry, education, and motherhood all at once.
After years of running large businesses, I started craving something slower. More intentional. A space where beauty and creativity could exist without all the noise.
Today, The House of Shelby blends natural permanent cosmetics, artistry, and education inside my small adobe studio in Corrales, New Mexico. My approach has stayed the same through every season:

I’ve been a beauty industry educator for years, training and mentoring hundreds of students, while also working hands-on with clients day after day. Thousands of brows later, I realized the work I loved most was never really about trends or perfection. It was about creativity, connection, and helping women still feel like themselves.
