Refund and Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing The House of Shelby. Because appointments, training dates, and coaching sessions require reserved time and limited availability, the following policies are in place to protect both our clients and our business.
Booking Fees & Deposits
Certain services, consultations, coaching sessions, and training programs require a non-refundable booking fee or deposit to reserve your appointment date and time.
Unless otherwise stated:
Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service or session
Deposits are non-transferable
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice forfeit the deposit
No-shows forfeit all deposits
Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will result in loss of the booking fee or deposit and may require a new deposit to rebook.
Clients arriving significantly late may need to reschedule if there is not enough time remaining to safely complete the service.
Permanent Makeup Services
Due to the nature of permanent cosmetics, all completed services are final and non-refundable.
Results vary based on:
Skin type
Lifestyle
Medications
Medical conditions
Aftercare
Healing response
Individual preferences
While every effort is made to achieve beautiful healed results, no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
Additional sessions, touch-ups, color boosts, or adjustments may be recommended and are billed separately unless otherwise included.
Touch-Ups & Color Boosts
Touch-up appointments must be completed within the recommended timeframe provided by your artist. Appointments scheduled outside the recommended window may be considered a new procedure and priced accordingly.
Consultations
Consultation deposits may be applied toward future services if booked. If a client decides not to move forward with booking, the consultation deposit may be refunded. Consultation appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice or missed entirely will forfeit the deposit.
Coaching, Training & Apprenticeships
Payments made toward coaching sessions, shadow days, apprenticeships, training programs, and educational services are non-refundable due to limited availability and reserved scheduling.
The House of Shelby does not guarantee licensing, exam passage, employment, income, or business success following education or mentorship services.
Policy Updates
Policies may be updated at any time without notice. By booking services, consultations, coaching, or training through The House of Shelby, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
